It has an original
diesel engine with a traditional sound, and can carry up to 12 passengers and crew for
hour trips or longer cruises by arrangement. Your skipper will be able to
answer any questions you have about the waterway. Facilities aboard includes a large open fore deck with seating, from where river views can be enjoyed, and internal cabins with
toilet and hand washing facilities. BLACKWATER ROSE is available to short trips. Why not make that birthday or anniversary special by hiring

this Essex inland waterway. The back cabin on Blackwater Rose has been constructed along the same lines of
an original boatman's cabin and includes an Edwardian range as part of the unusual
fixtures and fittings. The front deck, with seating for up to 12 persons, is fitted
