Since 1991 Blackwater Boats has owned and operated  traditional style narrowboats. Commercial barges had previously carried coal, timber and grain along the same waterway for over 200 years. Today you can cruise this historic waterway, and enjoy the beautiful scenery from aboard our skippered trip boat.  The Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation is an attraction everyone, boaters, anglers, walkers and birdwatchers.
